  • The Gutting of a "COHIBA SIGLO IV"

Yesterday, I saw a thread of a guy who had some mold issues and gutted one of his cigars to show to the forum. This gave me the idea to gut one of my "cohibas" i recently got out of madrid.

Although I know you guys are already famaliar with counterfeiting, just thought I would throw some pics up.

If anybody would like these, they will go cheap! lol Just kidding!

Nothing pisses a guy off more than to have this happen to him.....

Next time one of you fellas go to Madrid, I would pay you to carry an asswhipping from me with you! lol

yeah i know! i was and still am pretty ticked off about it. i bought these beauties from www.habanodirect.com . i figured i was safe. i bought two times from them before and got the real deal. Some upmann #2s and partagas tubed. This is actually the reason i landed here at this forum. i just wanted to warn others about this place and wound up talking to some cool people and decided to stay! Maybe it was fate? haha.... at least i can laugh about it a little now.

those look like some nasty sticks, have you emailed the retailer to get your money back or reported it to your card company to get a charge back?

I know what you mean about non cigar smoking friends that come over to smoke your good cigars. I dont mind sharing with a fellow brother of the leaf, who appreciates a good cigar but when you get the casuals round and find half smoked motecrisos the next day.

Tough luck mate, this guys that do this kind of stuff should get one of those cigars that had a bomb to try to get Fidel Castro away for good.

I dont mind either sharing cigars with the guys who will smoke them. But like you some of my buddies will smoke an inch and decide they dont like them. These cohibas might be good for that bunch!

I have a couple of friends i give cigars to that enjoy them , but cant afford to, or arent interested enough - so buy their own cigars - but i normally pass on NCs that are "OK" smokes. Could do with some "Cohibas" lol.

i actually smoked one of these and it was pretty crappy. the one i smoked was long filler though. they are mixed up. some short some long filler. but none of them are authentic. they have not even been in my humidor. dont think they ever will be either.

there are only like two of my buddies i will give a great cigar to. the rest of them dont know poop from apple butter so i talk them into trying one of the cigars i bought that i dont care much for! haha
