  • "Who are you, who-who, who-who...I really wanna know..."

    Hello BOTL and SOTL.

I was cruising around the 'net and found a link to an old article:

"Could you ever imagine how much you can learn about a smoker from Cigars? The way people hold their cigars can tell a lot about their moods and characters.

An issue of the Italian almanac, II Tabacco, that appeared in the early nineteen twenties contained a curious article headed "Sigaromanzia" describing twelve positions of the hand holding the cigar with captions about corresponding psychological characteristics of the smoker. Evidently the Italian psychologists of the last century were correct. A similar experiment has been conducted recently by a team of modern experts and the results were almost the same. So pay more attention to the people that surround you, and perhaps you'll discover something new about them."

    How do you hold yours?

That's the link, and I have cut and pasted my general style of cradling up my cigars, which apparently indicates I'm Judicious and fair minded.

So how, or more importantly, who are you?

Thought it might be interesting, but no dramas if no-ones going to ...hold their hand up (wah, wah, wah)

EDIT: Cut and paste your holding profile up if you like.

        Good article!

SPIRITED. TOUCHY. A MAN OF HIS WORD.

(I hold a fat one between my thumb and fingers along the top... just like my Dad did).

I think that's probably the most close description of all those slogans in the list of how I am, tbh.

Rather disturbingly, I alternate between these three depending on company, location and mood:

A good orator, a fine psychologist

            Obdurate, selfish

            Suspicious, skeptic

            Great article btw!

@ Dave: yes, I alternate between a few, but narrowed it down to the above and

                Sprightly, outgoing and self-willed
                (apparently)

                You're seemingly a serious thinker with a self-centred leaning

                @ KDot, you're hiding something
