  • Your main Christmas Day cigar...

Mine will be an R&J Churchill unless I can procure a Sublime(s) before the day.

(Not sure whether it's Sublime or Sublimes in the singular).

Whatever it is, le cigare will be whiffing out the homestead big time.

    All moans will be ignored.

    Christmas!

Unfortunately I will be away for most of December, so there will be no smoking for me.

I do look forward to some big smokes at Christmas, and it is one of the few times when I will break out the Partagas Lusis.

Just received another box of Sublimes recently myself, so come the New year they will be given a good seeing too.

Sounds like you have it all planned and organised Lee.

Yes, first christmas smoking, I have a few days off work, only had 10 days off this year, and I plan to enjoy some cigars several times a day

I have a few possibilities depending on the time available. In my 'treats' section of the humi, I've got a Lusitania, a Don Alejandro, a Sublime and a Duke. Most likely one of them if I get the chance.

I'll be at my folks so probably won't bother, however, if we're let go early on Christmas eve maybe I'll have a sublime too.

Good thread / question, but a tough one to answer. All depends on if I get anything nice in America, maybe a nice Tatuaje or Padron?

But at the minute I'm liking the idea of chilling out with maybe a Opus X Petit Lancero in front of a movie, but I'm sure I'll probably change me mind a few times before then .

well if the weather is decent on the day I think it will be a Hoyo Churchill, on Christmas eve however the office leaves at mid day, so I hope like last year a few of us stay behind and pull out the Cubans

I have nothing 'celebratory' in the humi really, Last 2 years I've bought a Cohiba Siglo 2 and they've done me well. Might aswell keep up the tradition, haven't had a Cohiba in ages! Will be interesting to see the difference how it smokes in my well seasoned pallete, compared to my less experienced pallette from last year, what difference a year makes

I had not planned that far ahead but I think reading this thread just made up my mind. Since so many of you are going to smoke Monty sublimes I think I will have a Cohiba sublime, just to be contrary. If I can get one before the day (which is proving impossible at the moment) I will try the Padron 45th also.

Managed to bring back some nice port from portugal, so will be thinking of a good pairing, mybe a nice maduro... still considering, the one problem I do have is that we are having some ciggarette smokers over for dinner and I hate ciggarette smoke, but how do you tell em they can't smoke while smoking a big fat cigar, they don't understand!
