  • Disappointment

walked to the pub today and smoked half a H. Upmann petit corona there annd half coming home(four pints, if you're interested). It didn't taste of much to be honest.
Anybody got any good suggestions for the afore mentioned walk? Takes about twenty minutes there and roughly the same back depending on intake, natch.
    Cheers Satch.

Hoyo petit robusto springs to mind. If you smoke FAST then a Hoyo epicure No.2 maybe.

How had it been stored? If it was from a supermarket or somewhere similar their storage often leaves a lot to be desired. I've had quite dry tubos from Asda before.

I can't really think of anything I personally would be able to fit into 20 minutes apart from one of the Minis.

[EDIT] I mean a cigar before you filthy gits start...

Rocco said it in one. The Reyes and No.5s would have been my suggestions for lovely short smokes.
            Thanks

Not had them but everyone's talking about the Partagas Shorts. $100ish for 25 at the sponsor.

If you want something tasty then the Reyes is my choice although the Hoyo Petit Robusto is also a great choice.

There are a lot of good smaller cigars out there. Some of my favorites are:

Bolivar Corona JR -Highly recomended if you like Bolivars
                      Partagas shorts
Partagas Petit Corona Especial -One of the best values out there
                      Diplomatico No.4's and 5's
                      Trinni Reyes
Cohiba Siglo I -But may need age
                      Rafeal Gonzales Petit Coronas
                      H. Upmann Regalios -Another Value MM cigar but may need a couple of years
                      Saint Louis Rey Petit Coronas

I am a bit surprised. I never expect to hear bad reviews on my favorite mareva. I feel them very sweet and subtle w/ enough creaminess to by delicious.

If that cigar was at least the right size, consider the Monte #4. Lately they have been smoking extremely fresh, similiar to the #2, more agressive than the Monte Petit Edmundo.

                              Enjoy your smokes.
