hello all,
for all you who enjoy a nice glass of wine or two with your cigars, i recommend this lovely wee australian shiraz from tortoiseshell bay! my missus loves her australian wine (especially mcguigan's) and has bought this particular brand on numerous occasions! this evening i had a couple of glasses along with a PSD4..........i found they paired exceptionaly well! the description on the back of the bottle sounded like the PSD4:
"elegant, yet powerful and peppery shiraz with rich dark fruit flavours, mocha and spice. good gripping tannins make this full bodied wine suitable for robust cuisine and strong flavoured foods, and great to drink on it's own."
'nuff said..........and a bargain at ?4.99!!!
