I'm off to Liverpool for the weekend and will call in at Turmeaus. Is it any good. Anybody been? The shop, that is, not Liverpool. Ahem. Am I commiting a faux pas by asking?

Thanks Lee. I'm going with my wife. I need to get her away as I make my purchases to avoid the Frown of Death! We're not exactly loaded and I'm made redundant in a couple of months so I thought I'd get a few in before hand. Ho hum.

Hey Satch, looks interesting from the web site. Second oldest tobacconist in the UK it says on the web site so lots of history, and it's owned by C.Gars/Mitch who certainly knows how to run a business so I look forward to hearing what you make of it.

        Expect high quality traditional service.

Just got back from Liverpool. What a great city, did the full tourist thing like Ferry across the Mersey, Mathew Street, Cavern etc... and of course Turmeaus.

Bought two Ramon Allones specially selected, 2 Partagas SD No.4, 2 Hoyo, Petit Robusto, 2 Trinidad Reyes and a Monte Cristo open Regata and Monte Cristo petit Tubos.

I shall leave them to rest in my Humidor for a few months and try and gather up a few more...

Anybody with any suggestions of where to go for a decent price?

            Satch.
