Por Larranaga?

This is not a brand I am very familiar with, and when searching through the forum it would appear that it is not a widely smoked brand by many of the forum members.

I am considering trying a box of the Petite Coronas to start with, as a substitute to the JL PC which i normally smoke in the mornings.

I would like some feedback regarding tasting notes for this brand, and how they compare to the likes of Hoyo or Montecristo.

I have read from two different sources that they have a caramel aftertaste, which appeals to me.Has anyone found this to be the case?

I'm not very good on the taste identifiying thing Whisk, but they are a really nice smoke. I've Panatelas and had MonteCarlos. Top dreaw!

You only get cabs of these Whisk. I've gone through a couple of cabs in the past 3 years.

They really are a great wee smoke, and very reasonably priced. If you're looking to try these but don't want a full 50 I'd be up for a split.

Forgot to say, very creamy with hints of caramel is what I get from these.

I find the PC starts out tasting like Milky Bar (sweet milk) with caramel adding further in. Not very complex but worth it when you hit that taste.

For me the real star of the marca are the Montecarlos. 06-08 these have really been on fire; a more substantial, satisfying and interesting smoke than the PCs despite the price difference.

smoked one just before dinner and didnt care for it much, I didnt get any of the sweetness that everyone else mentioned dont know if I got a bad one as it had a few draw and burn problems. I found it quite bitter throughout and it didnt help when I got hit in the face with a snowball mid drag!
