  • Just burned a 'Partagas Black Label Crystal'

Not a bad cigar, it has a certain amount of 'oomph'. . . not too expensive and aesthetically pleasing

I like the Partagas Black very much. Prefer the Magnifico vitola (6.0" x 54) but most others smoke the same. Impeccable construction with a strong cap and thick oily wrapper. It has a no fuss burn, starts out smooth and gradually gets up to a full power crescendo mid smoke and holds that note to the nub. Consistent from first stick out of the box to the very last. $5-$7 retail with deals to be had for just over $3/stick it really is a great smoke IMHO.

            Yum

Had one of these at my favorite cigar tavern a while back, ran out and bought myself a box. Ran just under $4 a stick and I haven't regretted a single penny or a single puff. This is a very nice, no-nonsense cigar. Good looking, almost black with a great burn, lurvely aroma, and a nice full-bodied flavo(u)r.

              Yum is Right

I use to love these until Don Pepin took the cigar industry by storm. Now I will have to revisit the originals that Ive stashed for days like these ! I can remember when The Partagas Black was the strongest cigar on the market! And the flavor profile was second to non. My how times have changed ! But theres always room for a pinch hitter in my rotation. Will revisit them when I have time LMAO ROTF thats all I seem to have lately !

I had a HUGE Excalibur recently that was really quite a good smoke! Ususally, I wouldn't go near cigars that size, but it was quite good. I didn't find it strong, more on the medium side and certainly not as strong as a Boli.

Also was my first non Cuban Parti!

                    Ooops, pardon me. Excalibur 1066 isn't a Parti, it's a NC Hoyo!
