  • Nub - thoughts?

So, has anyone got thoughts on the Nub range?

I've attempted to search on the forum, but sadly my skills are lacking - just searching on Nub is a nono (3 chars) and any other combos after that ends in all sorts.

Anyways - I like the look of the Nubs, and was wondering about adding a handful or 10 to the humidor. My preference is for Cohiba (CC), currently got 25 robusto and 25 Siglo VI settling in, with some R&J Dukes on the way - and am interested in trying some other cigars to add. Fancied some NCs, but tried an Oliva V the other day and hated it - far too sweet on draw, really wasnt keen.

    Nub worth trying? Flavours?

Didn't like the Oliva V ???? Shocking to hear that one!

The Nubs are a great line of smokes. Just ask Lee Dub!!!
    He will tell you.

I love the NUB, I want to be drowned in NUB juice! Yum yum yum. This has NOTHING to do with the fact that the creator of the NUB has JUST joined this forum and I, speaking from an entirely personal point of view, WANT HIS LOVE CHILDREN.

This same genius, or maybe slightly twisted mind, also created the CAIN line of cigars. These are even more orgasmic than the NUB, I want to be drowned in these TWICE please.

He has announced, on this forum, that there has been a horrible shipping accident. A crate of NUBs and another of CAINs had a "dangerous liaison" when nobody was looking; the horrific love child that resulted, the CAIN NUB, is soon to be released upon the world. I have already dropped my trousers and assumed the position in anticipation!

Yeah - shocked me too. Perhaps it was the wrong time of the day?! Had enjoyed lunch, and fired one up in a sun beam. The dry draw was tasty, light chocolate, hint of leather. Lit (colibri jet flame), and it just tasted like I'd dipped it in glucose syrup. Stayed with it for 15 mins, but just didnt work - thinking I had an unfortunate one?

Wow, that's a lot of positive responses in a tiny time frame!

So, I'll order some to try... just out of interest, what's the smoke time on one of those?

Been a huge fan of Nubs and cains since I started smoking cigars, I have several boxes worth in my humis. My favourite is the habano 358 followed by the habano 460. Cain again my favs are the habanos. I'm hoping to get a new 7 drawer humi soon just for Nubs, and am looking forward to the Cain nub and the miami version that's coming soon

As you've guessed I'm a huge nub fan, I'm a forum member at the Nub forums and hunt down the merchandise on ebay when I can find it

And yes Sam is a god to me

I like the Habano and the Maduro best. The smaller ones can be done in 35-45 mins and the larger ones will smoke a bit longer into the hour range. But I'm a slow smoker it take an hour, hour 15 for mine.

And like T (just not in the same way), I eagerly await the Nub Cain F. Going to be a firecracker!

                    Sounds good!

oooh, ooh, 7 drawer... that's what I'm trying to fill! Got 3 drawers left... Just noticed a certain uk cigars limited company has a Nub taster pack to order. I think that's new, as I've been browsing for a while. I shall grab the taster pack toute suite, and look forward to delivery.

I've enjoyed the Nub Habanos I've had, and prefer the Torp personally. I think it is something to do with the RG being a bit more mush friendly for me

Never had a torp/pyramide shape before - thinking it may suit me as I have a terrible habbit of chewing...
