  • When your Nub just won't stay up...

Anyone try to imitate the picture of the Nub standing on its full ash? Just interested in whether it is easy to do or if it is just trick photography, like what that fraud Ned Needlender used to make his gun-slinging look so darn fast.

Ned Needlender? Sorry me not got no scooby.

Nub on ash? Never been lucky enough to try one yet but hear they hold their ash well. Should be quite poss given the short length to big RG ratios. Have smoked a few good cc's that take a fair dunt to drop their ash sometimes so can't see the wee short fat one having a prob.
As a precaution you could always tip the ashtray towards it as you turn it over.
    Good luck..

Yup done it several times. The classic Nub holder (not my alternative) can be tricky. It will never happen outdoors, just smoke your Nub slowly so the ash stays compact and doesn't flake. It also helps if you remove the band before smoking then you don't knock it when you reach it

Next time I attempt one I will take a camera
