  • Some new cigars.. back from Italy

Just back from a couple of weeks in Italy, pick up few interesting cigars, some ERDM torpedos RE 08's and some Toscanos to try, also a box of Dukes, If anyone has tried the ERDM torps before, be interested in your opinions....

            Especiales!

The Especiales look really good and I think they will be an exceptional smoke.
I have been trying to source the ERDM Balthasar for a little while now without much success.

Post a review of how they smoke, as I would be really interested.

Another request for a review as and when you whip out the ERdMs. They look extremely good, and being ERdMs, I'm sure they are wonderful...

I tried one of the El Rey's last year, Vikingos if I remember correctly. It was a very decent smoke! A full review is on the ClubHavana UK forum, have a look before it shuts down for good at the end of the month

Nice looking haul! I haven't heard of many people getting there hands on Italian Regional Editions.

Let us know how they are when you try your first one.

How were the prices in Italy compared to here?

The 1st 3rd remained like this and also gave me an underlying flavour I couldn't quite put my finger on. This continued into the second 3rd and I decided it was a very faint rosemary taste. Plenty of white creamy smoke with a hint of blue neon inside. Faultless burn and strong ash. Flavours developed into cracked black peppercorns with a hint of earthy leather and the spice getting stronger.

                            Sounds like a cracking puro!

El Puro's just kidding, boyz. Tis' a mighty fine review.
