  • Green cigars?

So yesterday i was watching the main man Columbo solving the case like only he knows how, when i noticed that the cigars he smoked were green? Dad said they were American made and he told me the name of them but i cant remember.
    Has anyone tried them?

Nope, but I believe they are done by Don Thomas.

The wrappers which are green are candelas. I have smoked lots of fuente 858's with candela wrappers and found them to be nice and smooth. Like boss said Don Tomas does make one too. Supposedly they are wrappers aged 20 some years. The fuente candelas are better imo. Give em a try!

Not sure of the particular brand, but the wrapper is a candela wrapper. These wrappers are not very popular any longer, but were very popular at one time. They produce a very mild, sweet flavor.

President Kennedy stockpiled Cuban cigars with candela wrappers prior to imposing the embargo.

Brian, I seen them before in the shops but never tried one. Is it worth $ getting a few sticks?
