  • Cigar Rolling Event at The Long Ash Club Pics

I had the privledge of going to the Long Ash Club in downtown Pittsburgh where Pedro Gonzalez was introducing his line of Nicaraguan cigars. The cigars are mostly Nicaraguan puros, but he uses a corojo wrapper on the toro and is implementing a maduro wrapper from the San Andres region in Mexico in his new line.

While enjoying the cigar, guest roller Alejandro Marquina from the Partagas factory in Cuba hand rolled cigars. He also gave a few rolling tips to my buddy Vince Orend who owns a cigar shop in Monaca.

Here are a few pics from the event:

Nice one Larry, must have been a good experience and those sticks look very inviting. Did you get to sample anything? (probably a stoopid question)

Now, that sounds like a fantastic event. Thanks for the pics - very interesting to see those kinds of evenings. Wish we had a greater variety of events like that over here (yes, I know there was the roller tour last summer... )
