  • I only went in for some humidification...

... popped into Turmeaus L'pool during lunch to see what humidification options they had, as wanted to try a different product for my cabinet. Sadly they didnt have what I wanted in store (suggested the website), however I expressed some interest in trying a robusto ish size other than a Cohiba, and a little retail therapy later:

    3 x R&J Escudos LE 07
    3 x Partagas Serie 9 no 2
    3 x Trinidad Robusto T

(Apologies for the rubbish phone pic)

Was hesitant about the R&J, right up until I smelled them!

It's a nice little shop, innit. Did you get served by the little Scottish lady?
I went in for a couple of sticks annd walked out with 10.

It's a great shop indeed! Honestly can't recall any accent there, but I'm so terrible at listening to various accents, everything merges into one!

If I have to stay over in the City, I try to book 62 Castle St, just so I can 'accidentally' pass the shop on the way to check in

They were busy showing me their new Siglo VI Gran Reserva box, they looked and smelled great too... to the point of asking them to put it away incase I gave in!

This is the one: 34 Fenwick St, Liverpool. L2 7NB

Not open at the weekend though. Good selection of NCs too, walkin humidor of CCs. Said something about a Nub related cutter coming up soon....

                        I bet!

The conversation went along the lines of me asking what their biggest cutter was, as I had some 66 gauge to handle... settled on a punch to try (always fancied trying one of those cutters), with the nice lady saying 'I'm sure I've seen about some specific cutter for those Nubs coming out soon'.

Oooooooo, is it the shop owned by Mitch, the one with the Havana neon light in the window,

I will certainly be there at the mere whiff of a Nub cutter
