  • Birthday smoke.

Okay, so a bunch of you know me and can even tolerate my company. My birthday is on the 27th (Tuesday week) so I am thinking of a big birthday smoke on the following Saturday (1st May). I am hating my new job, pissed off at the universe and so you would all be in for a good comic moaning session and putting the world to rights. Who is up for it? Some booze and maybe a nibble in order also. If anybody is a champagne nut like myself perhaps an afternoon glass in Kettners.

I would have left this up to my mate Jimmeh to organise, but he tried to organise a piss-up in a brewery once, I am sure you know the story......

I'm afraid I'm out for the night in town for a mate's birthday, however, if you're starting early I'd be happy to meet you until the evening...

Unfortunatley i will have, or should be just out of hospital then after (hoping) my last operation after last years bike crash, so i will be on meds and unable to drive/ride. Most likely be incoherent due to the morphine, so i guess i will have fun alone.. Thanks for the invite tho, appreciated.

What a generally positive response, grand, thanks chaps!

Sadly Jimmeh has decided to go tree hugging with hairy lesbians that weekend so he will not be attending. Those of you who can and want to do it, lets make some sort of general outline of a plan, yes?

I will note that if it is a lovely day, although it is a little out of the way, a smoke and nibble at Dunhill is a must. If the sun is shinning and good cigars to hand, I bloody love that place.

Just as a pictorial enticement, here is myself and Lascaux last Saturday for breakfast.
