  • Hungary (Budapest)

Planning a trip to Hungary in the summer(Aug) will be travelling to and from Budapest Airport and probably plan a quick whistle stop tour whilst there. Most of the time will be spent in Sz?kesfeh?rv?r but wondered if anybody knows a reputable seller of fine puros in Hungary?

All I have been able to find is a company called Cigar Tower but the info on them seems sketchy to say the least.

    Cheers

The 'Tower' in Budapest is the best of a limited choice I'm afraid.
From what I recall, the prices are OK (CC's used to be price controlled, but I don't know if that's still the case), though you might be better off taking your own supply with you.

At least the food & drink (particularly the coffee), is of a good standard, and inexpensive when you get there. Have fun!

Its worth popping into the cigar tower if you are close...its a fun little building... I was there two years ago with work and the prices weren't good.

Cheers for the update, I thought Hungary might be limited doesn't seem to be a place that is known for cigar smoking. I will try to pop in to the cigar tower and see if they have anything interesting..

I didnt find a single cigar store when I went. Stay away from the tourist spots as they can be a bit of a rip off. ?30 for a beer and a lapdance! i'll take my money elsewhere! (it was a stag do)

I ended breaking out of a strip club being chased by some big fellas with my sound engineer and a DJ after the rest of the band had gone to bed, it was a mad night. lol

I'm not sure if maybe you can still smoke in bars etc or whether they've brought in a smoking ban
