This is a unique looking cigar with a pale brown wrapper that is almost green. It feels smooth as silk and is very thin. It is from a box dated Sept. 2001. The first third starts off instantly with notes of Spice, pepper and mint. As the Cigar burns it is a tad uneven so a correction has to be made every so often but its from 01 so im not complaining. the second third brings more pepper that comes and goes along with hints of earth and the strength is building. The final third was great as well. There was a flavor of wintergreen throughout the entire smoke and i loved every bit of it.:rock:Cigars like this make you appreciate a good Cuban when you get one. I have smoke most of this box and they have been inconsistent to say the least. I purchased it before i knew about the 1999-2001 quality situation and half of these have been telephone poles but this bad boy was on point all the way with more strength than the d4s i have now. What a great lonsdale.:41:

Notice the color difference. In person it almost looks like a Candela leaf wrapper
