K so after my recent fantastic bombings from Dave and Lee i figure..i need new boxes and a hygrometer!
    and so...
    we have this

two boxes for ?3, or one big one for ?6...two it is haha!

so when i got home i ripped out the old drawer from a cigar box, sliced up the ceder and double sided taped it to the inside of the box in a couple places to help retain a little moisture...its currently hitting about 69.6F/68%RH or so after its been stood for a while with a humi pillow in too..brilliant!
the other box has the same ceder and a drymisdat tube which for now is un monitored..but shall be when ive been paid

    And the collection:

next on the list is a nicer cutter and a humidor after that..or maybe another tuppa setup as it seems to work beautifully!
and here is the lovely lady who looked after the sticks for the week and brought them to me.

    Cheers!
    Nick

          smoking that one buddy!

jibby - yeah mate! got a couple people im talking to about sharing/splitting boxes so i might end up with another tuppa-humi too! they seem to cost approx ?20 to set up (?10 hygro, ?7 stick, ?1.50 tuppa and cedar) which is cheap as it can hold 20 cigars with room or 30 crammed

I use a very similar tupperware clip lock style, i think ?6 from spasda and you get a big, medium, two small, a square and round mini. I use the minis to hold some crystals for a make shift humidification device and the smalls are perfect being long and small for cigars about the length of a cain. The mediums and large hold churchill lengths and are great to keep them separated.

I wouldn't bother with getting another hydrometer as a priority. I have 3 humidors, 4 if you count the fridgidor and only one hydrometer. I just move it around every day when i check on them. Once the storage is set up they will change very slowly and it gives actuate readings within a minute once it stabilises to the new atmosphere.

Hydrometer or another fine cigar, decisions decisions.

vice nice but i don't know if the lovely lady smoking a cigar is a good thing or a bad one, might end up costing you twice as much

But she is one of the few cigar smoking ladies so as they say on the vimto ad "hello preety lady" (in a sorta Russian stylee!)
I started out with nothing and i've still got most of it left - Seasick Steve

she has a VERY specific taste...so as long as i buy few of those i should be ok
plus its more of a 'mind if i try a bit of that?' than a full one usuallyy..and i give her a try of the first, second and last thirds

3 or 4 times the size and save $ on the hygros. What is your lady smokin and like to smoke?
