Here we go again......

The idea is you will be given another forum members name at random who you will send a stick or two to in the hope of trying something new.

We only have one rule and that is at least one of the cigars you send must be Cuban ( US forum users exempt from this rule)

Closing date for getting involved will be the 7th Aug
If you wish to take part please say so on this thread

also if you are a newbie you are welcome to take part but you must have the required amount of posts to enable you to PM the person you are doing the swap with, I think this is currently 25 posts.

Mine went this morning. I hate dealing with the royal mail, had to explain that the USA is abroad so it had to be shipped airmail and i would need a customs sticker. Doesn't inspire confidence in staff when you know the job better than them lol.

Also on a Royal mail rant, just popped round to 11 @@@@@ crescent to drop off their mail and pick up my 11 @@@@@@@ close from their house. It is nice to meet the neighbours but it is the second time this week we have swapped mail. Mail should not be this difficult!!!!

Rant over.

Thank you very much sir, I think I'll start with the Alonso this evening if the weather holds out.I opened up the box of the Menendez's on Monday and just loved the smell - let me know how it is. I might be trying one tomorrow, but if not I'll be interested to find out. I tried one of the Macanudos tonight and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm back home and... Wow! I feel deeply inadequate having received DeadBase's half of our swap. I thought I was being quite coy throwing in an aged cigar and a couple of others...

What a treat I've received from DB though... I've received a 12 year old cigar in return too - another of the H&F aged collection, a great looking Punch.

It would only get better though. A Wide Churchill! After the disappointment of my local dealer not stocking them, I thought I'd have to wait for a trip to London before I tried one, but no, one of these too made the journey from Berks.

You'd think that would be enough, or at least the pinnacle of his package, but no! The pièce de résistance was yet to be revealed... A 2008 LE - the Party D5... :849: I can't wait to get all of these lit, though not at the same time, it would be such a waste...

Thank you very much DeadBase. :yo:

They are from left to right: Man O'War; Don Pepin Garcia; Vegas 5 Cask Strength; Cain Straight Ligero; Nub Cameroon.

Oh, and a handy little punch cutter (never used a punch before, so nice addition) :)

Not had any of these before, but am very much looking forward to trying them all - I've read some of the online reviews and they all get rave ones.

Just hope my package the other way turns up soon - I've got it on royal mail tracker, but its being saying the same thing (getting processed for delivery abroad) since I posted it last Tuesday, so I'm very much hoping it is not stuck with customs!

Hi all, does anyone know of any contact details for JoeyC besides PM, just realised it has been about 5 weeks since the draw and me posting mine. Tried contacting him via PM a few weeks ago but it doesn't seen to be working, anyone know if he has been on a long holiday? Hope all is well but i don't know if he has received mine and i haven't received his yet. I double sealed them in zip lock bags so hopefully they wont have got too dry in transportation. His last last post was in this thread (28/7) and last contact via PM (7/8).

don't anger the postal Gods, they move in mysterious ways.

Well i have obviously done something wrong in a previous life as the postal Gods do have it in for me. Just collected my sticks from the post office this morning. The box looks like it has been round the world a few times but the main thing its that it arrived lol. Looks like the UPS label was partially ripped that could explain it. However they were expertly packaged inside along with a humi pillow so they arrived in tip top condition.

http://www.ukcigarforums.com/picture.php?albumid=181&pictureid=2289

Some nice sticks i'm sure you will agree and a lot i haven't tried (yet). Love the Cain and it isn't the perspective, it really does look that fat mmmm

Well worth the wait i'm sure you will agree.
