  • Cain Nub

Last night I decided to try the Cain Nub Habano 464 Torpedo.

I won't say a great deal but IMO is an improvement over the nub in a small form factor Cain. It really is the perfect love child of the two brands.

        Me too!

Big Cain fan, not impressed by the whole Nub concept; just give me a decent sized cigar wouldja? But the Cain Nub intrigued me and, not wanting to buy a box, the lovely and talented G-man was good enough to provide me a fiver of the 460 Maduro.

I'm still not sold on the Nub dealy, but when you make a Cain flavo(u)red one, I'm on the bandwagon. Absolutely tasty, tasty, tasty. Just hate having to finish it off with a toothpick each time (you think I'm going to waste all that tobacco in this fatty?). Would actually prefer a Cain Knob, instead, say... 8 x 60?

Despite my affinity for smaller cigars (especially perfectos), I've stayed away from Nubs.
Sam L was at my local B&M about a month ago but you had to buy a box of Cains to get a 5'er of Cain Nubs so I didn't pull the trigger.

The questions is ... can you do an ash stand with a Cain Nub like you can a regular Nub?

Have you tried a Flor de Oliva? They do an 8x60 and even a 10x66!

Yes you can do the ash stand. I did with my first one out of the box.
