  • Multiple Smokes In A Day

Do many of you light candle after candle?

I think, on a relaxed day, I haven't smoked more than two different cigars in a day.

I think you have to think of the order you smoke cigars the same way you think about the order of cheeses you eat at a French person's Alpine chateau dinner, Mr Bond.

Get the order right or you balls up.

I have never smoked cigar after cigar through a list. I have doubled on the same cigar and then gone onto a different one, so three in total. But never more than two different sticks.

What about you guys? Can you go through several sticks one after the other?

I would fear a mudge of the palate. Fear of slaughtered taste-buds. Death by indolence, too.

I love my cigars, but I'm not a cigar hoover.

Hi Bryan, not been on here much recently work is decided to go mental haha. Just to say though i used to smoke cigarettes still do when working, but when i`m chilling out or not working too hard i smoke cigars alot, i find certain cigars blend together and one leads onto another. The Cigar Etiquette states a 15 mins rest between cigars, did you know aswell that the brits are the only ones that take off the cigar bands because they class it as showing off. For the record i dont remove mine till it starts to burn haha.
Chill out and enjoy a good cuban when you can

        Afternoon chaps,

I as a general rule would normally have a cigar in the morning/early afternoon and maybe light up again at the end of the night.

With myself I am someone who can give myself a few days where I don't smoke any cigars at all. A lot of it is down to personal urge in my case.

I have to be very selective of each cigar in a sequence. If I have something full flavored followed by something mild or not as complex it can really ruin things. The other night I smoked three cigars in a sitting, but I actually lit 4. The first two were complimentary of one another; two very different yet medium bodied smokes. I then lit a mild panatela that tasted so awful I broke it in half and traded it in for a full flavored Dark Sumatra. Thanks to that last Hoyo I had a very enjoyable three-cigar evening.
Business in the front. Party in the back.

My best multi-smoke was at a mate's wedding. A large marquee affair with everyone looking the part.

I polished off two Montecristo no2s over the end of the meal and pulled out a Siglo V1 around the bar later.

People warm to cigars on occasions like this. Why ban them?

Smoking a good one in public was such a pleasure. It made me feel a bit more confident. A bit of a show-off - but (honestly) not too objectionable.

I just liked the conversations with blokes and women who were interested in cigars.

Tonight - when I have the house to myself - I'm going to try to knock off two cigars in a row, but will have to show off in front of a mirror as there's nobody here to adore me.

Sounds like your gonna have fun tonight then Bryan haha. Weddings and children being born seem to belong to smoking cigars. I took my cousin out to the local with a box of hondurans and everyone had one, including the pub owner and that was only last october. Does anyone walk about town smoking there pleasures or is it an indoors or around the garden hobby mostly?.

I love walking out with a cigar.

In good weather, I can walk along the promenade here past Walmer Castle which was the Queen Mother's residence down here. Loads of people are out walking their dogs. It's a public space and nobody can object.

I'll walk around Canterbury with a stogie after a coffee on the pavement. I adore walking round London with a good cigar. Might stop off outside a cafe in Soho or Covent Garden.

I usually wear a Stetson, and it usually makes me feel like cock of the walk. I can't believe how good it can make me feel.
