  • A Midlands greeting

    Hello all,

Bitten by the cigar beetle whilst away in Cuba (like many more I expect), back home on the 20th Jan, and glad it bit me Getting back to the UK I found I'd made some tidy savings, which was a pleasant education.

Still trying to decide on a 50ct humidor, but time is getting close to some drying out of my aquired sticks, which would be sinful. Made an approach to a German chap at Humidor-import but can't make a bank transfer. I've offered to pay, but haven't heard back for a few days...guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

No doubt catch some of you on the posts sometime (picking your brains I expect!)

What a great site for the novice and connoisseur alike you all have here. Nice find.

    Anyhow, warm regards.

    Chris

Greetings, Chris. How great to get into cigars in Cuba. Stick around. As Alex wrote, there are a lot of good folk on here with a lot of cigar smoker knowledge. It's fun.

Chris - Did you notice that Pantomimehorse has a couple of humidors to trade in the for sale bit? Maybe to sell?

          Hi

Chris I am also new to the forum but welcome.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

          The Dawg.

            Cheers for the welcome guys,

Nice to hear there's more newbies

I did see the humidors up for trade, but communicating with the German guy now, and we may be able to sort something out, thanks for the heads up though. I'll keep you all posted to developments as they have some nice pieces of kit.

            Catchy'all soon,
            Chris

                  Hi Chris

I'm based in Brum. Check out some of my posts about the Birmingham Cigar Club. Whereabouts in the Midlands are you near?

Nice to be here. I'm based in *** with delusions of elsewhere.
If I can drag myself away from the magnetism of the ol' home town , would be fine to catch up someday. Nice to see other newbs too. CHeers.
