  • Tatuaje Series P

Just wondering if any of you guys out there have tried the Tatuaje Series P brand with the white band, and if so what is your thoughts?

The reason is a work colleague is going to NY at the end of the year for a week and she has said she'll bring me back smokes and would you believe it I'm already beginning to try and narrow down what I want her to bring me back lol .

Anyway, any thoughts or opinions on this particular smoke would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers pals.

For my money, I'd go for the La Riquezas, El Triunfadors, and the Miamis over the P's. Avoid the Cabaiguans.

Oh yes, i had one today in the car... superb smoke, not very strong though, rather mild, but very nice.. very earthy and wet cat (if that makes any sense) worth buying too, could do with a few more.

Good luck finding the Ps I was told they are now longer in production.
For my $ I prefer the Tat Havana VI. The Diesel shorties are a good buy . Ah shit man there are too many to list. And why buy in NY their taxed by the Taxman to death

Cheers for the feedback so far guys. As for buying in NY, well that's the only place my colleague is going so it's get her to purchase some NC there for me or do without and I don't like to miss out on an opportunity .

Yeah I already have boxes of the Miami's, La Riqueza and a few El Triunfadors and plan on get her to bring my a box of the Havana IV, but only discovered the Series P while online yesterday, (don't know how I've missed it before now) so wondered what they were like.

G-man you could well be correct about stopping production, I've been to 3 different US states in the last 12 months, visiting plenty of cigar stores and lounges and have never noticed the Series P???

Personally the Series P is an odd one for me - As I'm a lightweight I enjoyed this as a medium NC - but the mixed 'medium filler' seems very short to me, which leaves me with a flaky ash and a few random bits on my tongue. I can't say I'm the biggest fan, it's OK - but I cant get my head around the fact that there are plenty other longer filler sticks out there that can be picked up cheaper, and it seems as though the only reason this mixed gar gets a look in, is because of the name on the label.

As for finding a suitable store - When my friends offer to bring something back for me I just get a mail to address, then they don't need to go out of their way to go where I want them to go, and I don't need to have a concern that they'll return with junk

I had a P series with some age on it, it was bloody lovely I have most of a box of Havana VI left, i might just leave those to age for some time now, though the one i had last night was great.

The P is the low end Tat. 60% medium filler and 40% long. The ones I've smoked have been really disappointing -- I guess I expect all Tatuajes to be great.

The Miami's are fantastic. Favorite in that line is the especiales.

Some Mix fillers are awsome cigars.

If your getting bits on your tongue use a punch. Never use a cutter if thats one of your concerns. As far as cheaper pick ups True but their are some who want a certain brand to smoke and the P series has great bang for the Buck.
