  • What song do you want played at your funeral?

Maudlin thought I know as it's sunny outside but i just rediscovered this and it's the one for me:

It also serves to remind me never ever ever to wear my collar outside my jacket ever again and that I must get a new beret!

So good they posted it twice (why does it always do that boss?)

I'm not sure but my dad wants 'Funeral For a Friend' by Elton John. Quite a morbid song.

Something from Astral Weeks by Van Morrison I think. Or From the Morning by Nick Drake.

I'm not sure myself, but I have been to a cremation where The Prodigy's "Firestarter" was played as the coffin went into the incinerator. Half the room was in tears and the other half in hysterics. It was quite a strange experience!

That is a classic. For my second choice i intend to be cremated so i choose

Just hope i don't die in a house fire lol. In one of my previous jobs i arranged funerals for military personnel so when i go it isn't going to be a morbid affair.

As they carry my coffin into the "hall" I want the glorious funeral march by Wager. As my coffin is fed into the furnace I want them to play "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" by Ren and Stimpy. As my coffin and I burn I want them to play "Popcorn" by Hot Butter.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
