I wonder if any of the graphics nuts could let me know what the going rate is for a fairly simple company logo? I'm looking to get one done for 'South West Cigars', for my new website and some business cards.

Simon, as David said it's always good if you can give some ideas such as shapes/colours/themes etc. I might have a go for you if I can find some time.

Ah ha! This is the issue. I'm really quite hopeless when it comes to this sort of thing - aesthetically I know what I like, I just have no way of coming up with it or 'framing' what it would be.
