  • HdV Friday 10th Brighton Dinner

So Jimmeh is being a massive fag and now not doing the Hotel Du Vin dinner and cigar smoke this Friday in Brighton. Is anybody going? Am I going to be flying solo for this one? The one of these I did at the HdV in Tunbridge Wells was just utterly excellent.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

I went to the Winchester HdV Cigar dinner they held recently and it was simply a fantastic evening...

Wonderful food accompanied by wonderful drink...

Cigars for the evening were an HdM Epi #2, Monte Petit Edmundo and the treat of the evening was an aged Ramon Allones 8-9-8...

    Cheers, HabanoSy

Oh good man. I think I will go on Friday regardless of flying solo. Too good to miss.

Are you allowed out without a minder (or a radio tag)?

          Is Jimmeh a giant cigarette?

Jimmeh is letting you out on your own without chaperone

I guess he has already booked and briefed the taxi and train drivers and pre-written the 'please look after this bear' note

Wish I was going - been to a couple of great HduV cigar dinners. Were you at the Tunbridge Wells one a couple of years back? I was there with my hubby.

Unfortunately the Birmingham HduV doesn't have a decent smoking area - have to travel to Cheltenham for the nearest one.
