    IBM Laptop help request

    Although the chances are VANISHINGLY small I have an urgent-ish need for a battery for an IBM X40 laptop. I know this machine is a bit long in the tooth but its a faithful companion. I am particularly after the extended battery, the one that sticks out the back a bit. The standard one fits flushly with the back of the machine and there is also a huge one that clips on the bottom. These would be interesting but ideally I want the one that sticks out the back.


    I can supply more details if needed but I suspect nobody will have a clue about this on here and so won't bore you any further.

        There are tons of "fakes" on ebay, so trying to avoid that.

          Oh fair enough. I had a quick look through the sellers but there isn't one I would feel confident in recommending.
