  • Acrophobics aware!

    I just watched this.
I'm not particularly scared od heights but, bloody hell!
    Free climbing that...yikes!

seen it posted somewhere before, not for al the tea in China lol. Love it how they are happy to climb without being clipped on as clipping and unclipping would be more dangerous wtf.

Would have thought it would be safer and quicker to helo them to the top. Wonder if any base jumpers have been off it or if a worker decided to take a quick way down one day lol.

                F*#k me!

Never, ever, ever! I have sweaty palms, feel s big ill and generally bricked it watching the whole thing.

A parachute would help but I still couldn't do it.

Tell me something Satch, curious nature n all... but eh WHY THE F**K POST THIS !

Christ, it feels like I've got three Adams' apples.
I think a few box's of behikes would be need for me to even consider this.
Then, assuming I even made it to the top, I would be expecting to find a few grand and a box of Black Dragon Gurkha's up there :P

My favorite part: "now it's just sixty feet to the top of the antennae!"

I watched a show in which the antennae had to be switched out. I don't think the tower was quite as tall, but it was still a drawn out bit of insanity. Oh what we do for our entertainment!

I'm not bothered about heights but I had to watch it through gritted teeth, so to speak. I just thought it was pretty impressive and thought the rest of you might like to think " Keeerist on a bike, not for me!"
Strangely enough, that seems to be the response. My work is done!

                        mwaahhahaha etc.

back in the old days before health and safety malarky we used to free climb the big telegraph poles and they don't half shake in the wind, so something that big you can feck off. Until you get used to it , you don't half shat yourslef as you lean back and the carbina snaps in.

Aye its ridiculous this HSE bullshit man, we cant do anything in the workshop thats practical these days (college mechanics workshop). Like using poles, breaker bars etc as leverage, no no! Has to be authorised from your lecturer whos, more often than not, sucking up the heads arse trying to get funding so we can get the proper tools needed so we can actually get things done without pissing off the fat cat, 'do gooding' Bas****s ! who in actual fact, is probably more obsessed about making financial CUTS rather that the safety of, more or less, kids in a workshop.

                              Sorry, rant over.

                              I hope :P
