A brilliant Saturday morning ....

My tasty, little female postie trotted up the drive this morning, in her little shorts, with not one, but two parcels.

The first being my comp winnings from Deano. My first ever genuine Cuban, Cubans. A pack of three (those words sound familiar) Cuban legend, Montecristo No2. Dean PM'd me yesterday letting me know these were 2010's and advised not smoking them for at least year. This has been duly taken and they're now safely asleep in a cozy corner of the tuppador. On a side note. For those who take an interest in these things, notice the TWO Warranty seals. I don't know if this is to become Cuban standard, but the lower seal which has the hologram is a slightly brighter green.

The second parcel was from Mike, and inside something I've been going on about for a while. I can't tell you what they are, 'cos they don't have a name as yet. But I've now got five of the Mike's Magical Mystery Gars I wrote a review on a week or two back. And, if these are anything like the first sample, they'll be magnificent.

The bottom seal is aplied in the factory. The top seal is added once the batch has been checked by habanos sa and meets the standard.
