  • Peter Green...

I'm at the end of a Cain Habano listening to Peters Green's Fleetwood Mac And had a realisation that there will never will be anyone who can make me feel as included as Peter Green has done for the past few years.

For example, listen to Oh Well then straight over to the Green Manalishi and you will feel something that is hard to come by.

Anyone else know what I'm on about here ?

I am with you dude, love old Firewoodmac and so much more music that gets under your skin.

For me it could be John Martyn or Neil Young. Currently listening to La Noise which is an aural assault and an extraordinary sonic sculpture. Get sole of that my man.

I have the "Best of PGFW" in my car. Green is a fabby guitarist even though he took FAR too much acid!

To the younger members of this group, Fleetwood Mac were a great rock and blues band in their first creation, before they moved onto becoming the billion selling pop band.

Peter Green had a unique touch that elevates him right up there. Also his self belief to replace Clapton in the blues breakers was something else ...shame, waaay too much acid to ever deliver his potential.

Mark, I still like Stevie Nicks and think that Landslkide was one of the greatest songs ever written! However, it's not blues and it's very much MoR!

And damn Stevie Nicks was pretty

Well if Peter had "too much acid" then I wish more artists would take just a little.
You can tell he was off his tits when you listen to the Green Manalishi (with two pronged crown -doo doo doo doo doo doo doo)
