  • A Humidor In Your Guitar?

Indeed, indeed. This thing actually seems to sound good, and I like that they didn't go overboard with the mop inlays and such. Surely one of the most smokin' guitars ever made:

Well thats different, i would have thought that having cigars in there would make the music sound different, or the vibration might damage the stogies.. but hey ho!!

      Woaahhh !! this is a must !

The I dont think the acoustics would effected at all. Cause its got nowhere for the sounds to resonate, they would just be projected straight out, i hope that makes sense lol.

Is it me or do these guys seem embarrassed to admit they are cigar smokers at first?

Indeed it is--missed that one. Good call--maybe the threads should be combined?

As with the knife/humi combo, I feel compelled to ask why. Nothing more, just...WHY?
I'm still waiting for the whiskey to whisk me away
And I'm still waiting for the ashtray to lead me astray

                    Bambini,
I just noticed the Josh Ritter lyrics in your signature--I love that song, and especially that line. Every time I listen to it, it happily gets stuck in my head.

We are going way off topic now, but I could talk of Kant and Ritter all night.

Saw Josh Ritter live last month at the Barbican. I've never seen a musician that enjoys his work quite as much as him He's a lyrical genius.

                          It's a guitar, it's a humidor, it's a philosophical quandary.

Good to know there are fellow philosophers on board here. Worked a lot with that strange duck, Mr. Kant. I'm a big fan of his Third Critique, but the rest, well we wouldn't have modern or postmodern philosophy without him, would we?

I'm with you on the Ritter front--haven't seen him live, but his work is excellent on all fronts. Alas, too bad we couldn't have a Philosophical herf. That would be a most worthy occasion.

                          1. What can I know? 2. What ought I to do? 3. What may I hope?

Just because you don't like what he said there is no call for that kind of language !
