Daughter is just back brought me a Montecristo Platinum Churchill and 10 montecristo Memories anybody tried these ?

  • #2
You are aware that they are non-cuban Montecristo, made with tobacco from Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua, the North Pole, planet Jupiter, etc. ?

Absolutely NOTHING in commun with cuban Montecristo's? except the name.

Never heard of the "Memories," but am very fond of the Platinum. FWIW, I prefer the Monte White #2 over his Cuban brother. Not nearly as flavo(u)rful, but extraordinarily smooth and creamy.

          YMMV

The Monte Platinums are a good full-bodied smoke! They are not overly complex, but provide lots of flavourful smoke.

As are the RYJ Habano Reserve (Honduran infact), and they're a very nice cigar.

Amazingly not all cigars are Cuban!

And some of the are very nice indeed.

Lets not hate up our NC brothers.

                  As John Lennon said
"Imagine all the cigars, living life in peace oh oh oho"

                  Have I gone too far?
