czech & speake cuba aftershave.....

evening all,
after recieving a bunch of samples in the post, yesterday i splashed out on the 'cuba' aftershave!!! heavenly stuff (as is most of their stuff from what i've 'sampled')!!! anybody else on here have it? i very rarely treat myself, so i thought...... 'f**k it!!!!'

Funny that, ive always avoided cuba'n' afershave and aftershaves with cigar sounding names, always seem to think they would be a little unusual? What does it compare with in the world of aftershaves? i use paco rabane which is my norm.

funny that, i'm normally the same...... i avoid 'gimmicky' things!!! however, i recall nicwing mentioning this on here before and i remembered it!!! i contacted C&S ages ago and they sent out a parcel of around 10 testers, and they were all lovely smelling!!! the cuba one just cried out 'buy me, buy me'!!!! lol!!! there's a real classic, traditional 'male' smell to it!!! it's quite 'smokey' smelling....... as in rich, earthy, dry woody smelling, with a lovely 'spicey' edge!!! you can definitely pick out scents of vetiver, sandalwood, frankincense, bergamont, clove and rose!!!! btw, my soon to be ex-missus is an aromatherapist, lol, she described it as 'very sexy smelling', if she smelt it when out it would 'stop her in her tracks'!!! that sold it for me!!!!

normally i wear DKNY, clinique happy for men or rituals artemesia (http://uk.ritualsstore.com/product/17778/artemesia/)!!! the last one is probably the closest smelling one to cuba.......
