I like nubs. But im not overwhelmed with them. they are a great cigar, but given the choice of the nubs ive tried and a good ole party d4, ill take the d4 everytime. Now olivia cigars… those are great.

Strange as Nub is part of Olivia cigars as well as Cain. But I guess each to their own!!

i didnt know that, but now that you said it there is a resemblance. the Nubs i had (total of 2) were nice. Not as vollumous smoke as the Olivias. Maybe ill give them another try.

Nub coneticut and Olivia coneticut are very similar in looks and flavour. I would alse agree that Olivia smokes are some of the best NC's you can get. Try the Nub Habano/Sun grown(UK name) 466. 66 ring guage makes for an awesome smoke.

Nub sampler arrived today from Cgars first class service with price match no problem, along with a wee humidor bargain probably no use to a lot on here but does size really matter Anyway advice required my humi has a analouge hygro I've stuck the humidifier in how long should I leave it to season I am aware the hygro is probably as much use as a chocolate chip pan but if the neddle hits the 60/70 mark am I good to go. Next question to unwrap or not opinion seems divided do the wrappers breath? I've also a couple of tubes cap on cap off ? apart from that everthing is tickety boo

Tubes, i leave the cap off unless is one of the new Non cuban push on tubes, which seem to allow air in .

I leave the cello on my cigars, i know they look better off, but the cello really does no harm.

How have you seasoned the humi, did you wipe down the cedar with distilled water first? If you are just allowing it to seaon from the humi device, its going to take a long time. Best thing you can do is get yourseld a digital hygro, salt test it (do a search here for salt testing) and go from there. It really is important to have correct levels and unless your using one of the very expensive analogues, its not going to be accurate.

Have fun bud, and welcome to the Church of Nub
