Love the RyJ one. Item is listed thus: "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item."

And is then described as follows: "Genuine Romeo y Julieta cigar box with 24 aluminium tubes."

Wow, that rare, 24 count box from Cuba - and there not even Trinidads.

This is the response I got from him:

Hi, They are Esplendidos and have been stored in a cool cupboard (I don't have a humidor). The bands on the cigards are flat. My e-mail is bob.davies@shell.com. This is incase e-bay remove the listing.
        Cheers,
        Rob.

Well, i'm glad it was a cool cupboard! I hope that Shell email isnt the real Shell....using work email for dodgy ebay selling!!!

I'm not so sure about his last item; I've never heard of 'Dark Wooden Cord Pulls' before. Are they cuban? Very interested, and have a brass tip...wierd

Incredibly rare, but they clearly fit in that box. Like a glove.

Not that I'd ever buy "cigar boxes" on Ebay but I need to point out that I've bought a number of boxes of fine Cuban cigar IN CUBA, right from the source and straight cut cedar separator corners are not unusual.
There are lots of reasons to suspect counterfeit smokes but a lack of a circular cut corner is not a reliable one.
