Aliens

You know, Deano, I've been an avid science fiction fan since I was 13 (about 50 years now) and I'm a bona fide rokkit scientist (computer engineer at the Kennedy Space Center, 25 years) and I really, really wish I could believe we've been visited by aliens.

But...

My problem is that for all the claims of sightings, landings, abductions et al, there is no irrefutable, compelling evidence to support any of it. If visitors from a distant world took all the time and trouble to come here, why wouldn't they make open contact?

Dr. Mitchell is a respected scientist and was an accomplished astronaut; however, I haven't seen or read anything to substantiate his statements.

This is my story

Not to sound like some fruite cake here about this alien thing but i wanna tell you about something that happend to me and my brother one night on the way back from a fishing trip in minehead devon.it was onef those clear cold nights in december when me and my bro decided to go to minehead fishing as we were told that they were catching lots of cod up there,we fished all night into the early parts of the next day,,,we caught a few but nothing really big like everyone were bragging about.So by about am we thought enough is enough and get home to our nice warm beds,heading back slowly as the roads were very icy as we were about 6 miles away from bampton there are lots of woodland areas,it was a full moon night and very clear and my brother and i noticed this huge whitish object in above the trees about half a mile away.We decided to pull over and keep our distance and as there were no other transport we just stoped in the road and got out of the car.This whitish thing that we had spoted was hovering just above the tops of the trees and every now and again it would move,my estamate size of this object i would say ..perhaps 100 ft round and every now and again it would pulsate and do a little light show of different colours.Well you can amagine me and amy brother were lost for words and totaly freaked out by this thing.Now after watching it for about 10 mins we decided to get the hell away,lol.As we got into the car and i could see my bro was on the brink of crappin himself we put the peddle to the metal and went like a scalded cat.As we looked to see if we could keep our eyes on what we had seen a few moments ago this thing was no longer to be seen.ANYWHERE......weird eh.....

lol,very funny, it was weird mate.the moon was behind us all the time and this was about half a mile from where we were watching.it was just scimmering above the tree tops and every now and again it would pulsate.weird........perhaps it must of been the dodgy cigars i were smoking perhaps.lol.
