  • New Skoda.

Im not sure about you gentlemen ( I use the term loosley ) but i love Skoda's, Great cars they are, and i love the new Skoda Fabia VRS.
Which brings me to the point of this post.

    The advert.
Awesome is all i have to say about it.

I want to now go out and buy this car, on finance of course, but own one non-the-less.

    Marketing, evil thing it is!

    Quick.

Saw the advert on TV tonight for the first time. Should be quick of the line I would imagine.

I love VW-Audi for reliability. Four of my last six cars have been VAG and I've loved them all. The other two were BMW and they were never out the garage. I had a 540 that admittedly was 2nd hand but was nothing but hassle. I'll never buy BMW again....shit cars (IMHO)

I just realised people probably saw this new thread and thought:

''oh marky boy has just bought a new skoda''

Haha how misleading I am :P

Ha ha. I did think that

It's amazing how about 15 years ago you wouldn't touch Skoda with a barge-pole due to their horrendous reputation for well....horrendousness!!
They're managing to shake off the bad image....I still don't think I'd buy one even though I know who builds them....
Skoda jokes were common when I was younger -

                  Q: What do call a Skoda with a sun-roof?
                  A: A skip

Aye when I was a kid Skodas and Ladas were a complete joke, funny how things turn around.

                    Great advert too.

That is a great advert and I know that they are great cars these days, but i will always just think to myself "What do you call a Skoda with one wheel and 2 exhausts?... a wheelbarrow"

                          Ah, Skoda jokes, awesome:

What do you call a Skoda at the the top of a hill?
                          A miracle.

Why do skodas have heated rear windscreens?

To keep their owners' hands warm when they're pushing
I'm still waiting for the whiskey to whisk me away
And I'm still waiting for the ashtray to lead me astray

Yup, the old jokes have been redundant for years since these are the best value of the VW white label brands.
