  • Sam Leccia leaves Oliva (Where his Nub brand lives)

Just picked this news up on Facebook, anyone know any more?

Sam is a cool dude and started up the Nub brand in his garage, he was the figurehead for the brand and travelled the US like a rock star promoting the brand.

Be interested if anyone has any news on what happened and where he is headed, Sam is one of the good guys.

The news is a couple of weeks old. Rumors that Oliva may give him a subsidiary or him going it alone are floating about.

I'm sure Lee Nub has some more info on this.

I hear that Oliva felt he had grown bigger than the Oliva brand itself and wanted to get back to that.

I heard similar Jimster me lad, possibly from the same source.

Typical US business tactics in my book. Get a figured to help build a grand, review marketing and cost after a couple of years and figure that a new approach to marketing without Sam is needed and ultimately much better for the bottom line.

No thought for the individual. Hopefully he got a nice thank-you $$$$ and has gone back to his garage T9 cool up something new and innovative line a 2" x 85 ring gauge doozie.
