    Masterorock - Andy Mack

    Concerning Moi,
I am a 28 year old musician, lucky enough to be able to make a living out of something so rewarding and enjoyable. I live with my girlfriend of nearly 3 year Katie and i've just put a deposit down on 2 labrador puppies which i can't wait to get as they will be my first dogs after years of wanting one but couldn't have due to either none dog loving mother or houses with no gardens!

    Cigar history,
I've only really recently got into them properly, i did a wedding gig last year where they had some cubans for the guests, the left overs were offered to the band so i had some of them (i think some of the same were also forwarded to Bryan who has also depped with said band) and really enjoyed the potent debauchery of the affair. It opened new doors that had previously been closed in a smokey hamlet hue.

Since then i've purchased the odd Punch etc from Sainsburys when i know the 'wife' is going to be on nights (she's not a fan) and enjoyed with various rich red wines and single malt whiskeys.

I've also recently been having lessons with my jedi master Robusto to teach me the finer arts of puffing, it's a lot more enjoyable to have a decent one with someone else who appreciates them.

A friend recently went to cuba and brought me back a selection, a few Monte Cristo's (superb) a Romeo And Julieta (lovely) and 10 random things which were ok but a little loose and not too much in the way of flavour until 3/4 of the way through, but they did a job while they lasted. I'm down to my last Monte now so i will be looking for new experiences when that goes. I like them strong.

Unlike Bryan, I've never had a problem with my demons, people's ignorance and none acceptance is far worse than me enjoying a fat one every now and then, i wouldn't presume to smoke in someone's house so they can't tell me what to do in mine or in public places.

I have to say thought that in some way the smoking ban in pubs is a good thing, as a singer my throat used to be shot after a gig and only just about back again by the next night when i had to do it again, now though i could do 2 gigs a day no problem, mainly due to the clean air i'm now breathing when singing. Having said that though, it would be nice to have a place to go where there's no Stella or chavs and enjoy a nice fat one in a leather arm chair next to a fire with like minded people and a vast supply of single malt.

    Memorable Cigar Smoking Moment,
Many are the same, TV off, Pink Floyd or something similar turned up on my excellent sound system (detached house helps here) bottle of something nice and be alone with my thoughts taking my time over a nice cuban.

Having a lesson in the arts from Bryan, learning how to do it properly, drinking espresso and chatting with a like minded person who understands the work/musical world that ungulfs my life.
Working...
