  • A useful cat or what ?

Strolled out early this morning to have a look at what was about & bagged a really big bunny for the pot. Out of nowhere my cat streaked out into the field & half carried/dragged said bunny all the way back home. Up until now the cat has stayed miles away from any shooting I've been doing & this was a total surprise for me...
Anyone know how to train a Guncat?
Tips would be really useful to get her ready for the Christmas shoot

I think it would be pretty hard to train a cat not to eat the kill. Still when we were kids my cats used to regularly deliver field mice etc so maybe there is hope.

Training cats in general is challenging.

love cooking with rabbit, free range, lean and tasty.

My cat brings rabbits in through that catflap and then struts around for a while. He then proceeds to eat it all, leaving just the tail and stomach/intestine.

The sound of its skull being munched is unforgettable.

I don't know about a Guncat, maybe. But, I was once the owner of a school for seeing-eye cats, and well let's just say that it didn't work out too well
