Montecristo Petit Edmundo - new one from Puro, will let you know how it is

  • #2
    You tease

I started off the day with an Alec Bradley "Spirit of Cuba" courtesy al la Monte. It was very enjoyable, sweet and mild starting, reminding me of freshly cut grass. Second third increased in flavour, where some delicate cedar cut through. Last third got a little bitter(ish) but there again, I took the band off. I guess it's there for a reason. Overall, I liked it.

Padron Maduro Londres smoked on the patio in the back garden with the sun on the old face great, accompanied with a lovely Colombian coffee.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

      The Dawg.

Started the day with a simple stick - the marvelous Hoyo de Monterrey Regalo, EL 2007. A perfect way to start the day along with a cup of joe - mild and tasty.

Glad to see everyone's back enjoying fine sticks . With the exception of Viceroy, I was beginning to think that I was the only true addict around here.

          Were have you all been...?

I've come down with flu in less than a day. So brassed off. Was looking to relax with a good cigar over the weekend. Enjoy your sticks, brothers.

A vanload of Cohiba Siglo VIs would be just fine vitamins, Monte. Delivered by two racked babes. (My son is looking in. I have to be repressed).

Deano - I had no idea you had Marc Almond at your cocktail parties. How's his dicky tummy these days? Still keeping them busy in Casualty?

                    Evening,

Had a Trinidad earlier this afternoon, before the rains came. Sounds like a scene from the African plains with David Attenborough speaking in the background.

Yes the common everyday cigar smoker has to bear a vast array of cigar smoking conditions in pursuit of his considered non Pc habit by those en masse around him.

                      Bro Bryan,

Anyday I don't want a stick, it's because I'm coming down with something.

                      Feel better soon.

For my second stick of the day, I chose the always dependable Ramones Allones Special Selection (RASS)

Good bones at a good price

Names TJ,TJCoro, and I'm all alone in here...where'd everbody go?

Finished the night with perhaps the best puro available - The super-fine Cohiba Piramide EL 06.

Cracked open a box I've had resting for a while. Magnificent puros - smooth a creamy- like silk!

Names TJ, TJCoro, and I'm fortunate enough to smoke the very best - no time for the rest(of course, I now live in my truck to support my addiction.)

Partagas Corona tubo. Followed by a Hoyo dark sumatra. Paired well with Jack Daniels Single Barrel.
Business in the front. Party in the back.

Partagas D4, left the pub at 10.00 and enjoyed it on the walk home, leaving so early reminded me in the sitcom Peep show when the guy leaves the pub early and it felt like time travel
