I always wanted a pair but was told that they are a big gay "thing" so never did buy any. Just to warn you, might be sending the wrong signals, or not, I do not know.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

Fantastic, very funny clip! Thank you for sharing.

As for the shoes, I just think they look silly - almost as though the wearer is confused about whether they're an extra in a 50s gangster movie or they're on their way to the ten-pin bowling centre. But that's just my personal opinion... I've been known to wear lime green socks (so it would be fair to say that I am certainly not any kind of fashion guru ).

Haha i couldnt object about the extra in a gangster movie. I was watching 'my fair lady', and Eliza's dad wears them when he's made some money and they're quite good. here's the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWXQU...eature=related (skip to 4:52 if you don't want to listen)

, tell me that he doesn't pull them off?

Spats are overshoes. Ridiculous things that were fashionable in the thirties.
