I have sat in for a third day waiting for a cigar shipment. This time it's coming UPS, the cigar supplier said it should be with me Thurs PM but when I Logged into UPS site they said by end of play today. However nothng so far. I can't find on the UPS what it says end of play is 1800? Later? Don't want to stay in all evening if not necessary. ANd what's th eearliest they deli er in th emorning?
Also I expected with a tracking number to know where it actually was, at least when it was in the country I can't see that facillity unless it's a pay for extra.
    Any info welcome.

hi, i use UPS worldwide all the time, via the booking agent INTERPARCEL and the tracking is excellent, i would think that the tracking is only visible to the sender.

Cheers for the adice guys, today all the info appears as if by magic, the problem seems it wasn't picked up til 1600 yesterday then it moved overnight to Clogne & now it's arrived in Brussels. Trouble is it still says 'by the end of today' although Brussels is only an hours drive away so I am still stuck in today. If I nipp out for two hrs first thing, I just know I'll find a note saying 'We called & you were out.'
Four days fishing & living given up on this parcel, won't be ordering any more; for a very long time

That happened to me with a UPS parcel. However they (in the UK anyway) have an arrangement with the Royal Mail and they left it a local sub-post office for me to pick up.
If you want to, you can.

I order everything with delivery to my work, just make sure you put a
            FAO: Your Name/Department
in as many places as possible

Even if you're on a short-term contract it usually works just fine.
In fairness tho I haven't tried it in a massive 5000+ company. But as long as you put your Dept. it should eventually reach you. Keeping in mind I work in the IT.dept and most people tend to know the IT guys names...Even if the company has 5K employees

If you're ever sending, I can seriously recommend http://www.parcel2go.com/

              - They pick up from you and it's far cheaper than Royal Mail for larger items.

Let's put this to the test Deano..
Put a large assortment of cigars together and send them to my abode...

I will let you know how the post service is once received...

                Ok mate?

Perhaps a bigger test sample is needed? Happy to stick my head above the ramparts if it helps?

Ok, here's the contents of an order originally put in last Oct, yes really!
Also arrived today a bomb from a mate just back from a Carribean cruise & yes that is a BeHike 52. Wouldn't have paid that much myself but will be glad to try this in due course

Hmmm, well the Behike will definately by kept 4yrs+. Sounds like a good starter for my 55th & it certianly deserves a chance to show some aging qualities. The rest of my bomb will be gone by the end of the yr & German parcel, I am having a lttile help from a couple of rather patient members
