How long an answer you want?

I would start rambling but I defer to Monkey66 on coffee. I can suggest a few though if he doesn't pipe-up.

Well how do you intend to make (brew) the coffee? I like different beans for espresso, stove top and filter coffee but I hardly use a cafetiere.

As a start try reading this....

I get freshly ground coffee from HasBean but they will send the beans- I just don't have a grinder. Typically the beans are roasted the day before delivery.

Another recommendation for Hasbean here - fantastic little firm to deal with and top notch coffee.

I always used to use Hill & Valley coffee, truly sensational bourbon espresso beans from there........... until they slapped on a minimum order of 2kg's and silly postage................

There is a great coffe roaster on I think Castle Street in Dundee, Like stepping back in time 100 years.
They roast the beans in the cellar so it's all fresh.
                    Well worth a look.

Depends on your brewing method, equipment and preferred drink (shot, cappu, latte etc.)
For my espresso shots and base for cappuccino or americano I tend to prefer a Brazilian Bourbon espresso bean.

If I'm doing filter coffee then something lighter; or if I'm feeling extravagant then Jamaican Blue Mountain hits the spot every time!
