Bruichladdich Rocks
Clear fresh and clean (no peat)whisky from islay. Original and nice rosy colour. Very much worth a try if you havn't !

Nice, did you have the 12 year old or the 15? I have only had the 12. I think they also have some rather
pricey whisky also.

Have to say, I really don't like this one at all..... now the bruichladdich port charlotte PC8; THAT'S a great one!
(mind you, I'm definitely one for the peaty/smoky stuff)

My fave is Bruichladdich Infinity, friend had some Black Art but I found that a little harsh.

Good choice on all the others too.

ya I want to try the port charlotte next. I do like my peat, but I found the rocks a nice change.
As to the age I must have the cheapest version, no age indicated. I chucked the tin that it came in, i'll check there.

edit: no age on the tin either.

If its good, they can produce as many as they like and I'll be fine by that

Bruichladdich has over 100 releases so often it's hard to a pin in what you do and don't like as it changes so much. For a consistently excellent dram the 12 y/o cask strength Lagavulin is superb, or the Berry Bro's and Rudd independent bottling of Laphroaig 1998 is excellent.
