  • Cuba Political News.....

President Raul Castro urges a "rejuvenation" of Cuba's Communist Party as he proposes that top politicians stay in office no more than 10 years.

    addendum:

BBC Havana correspondent Michael Voss considers what economic and political changes 2011 may bring to Cuba.
"By the cigars they smoke, and the composers they love, ye shall know the texture of men's souls." John Galsworthy
"A good Cuban cigar closes the door to the vulgarities of the world." Franz Liszt
"The most futile and disastrous day seems well spent when it is reviewed through the blue, fragrant smoke of a Havana Cigar." Evelyn Waugh
"Remember, commander, no cigars before launch." a Cuban doctor's orders to an astronaut at Cape Canaveral

Yep, just think how those's poor artisan's in the fields must fee. But what they don't need or I suspect could cope with, is to go from 'Castro's Communism' to 'Uncle Sam's Capitalism' over night. IMHO

              The "New" Leader is 79.
The Second in Command is 80.
The guy who is still in the background running things while he talks of "bringing up younger leaders" and "rejuvenating" the party is 84

What's going on? Looks like "more of same" to me.
