  • Lurking no more...

    Hello everyone!

I'm Ian, I'm in my late twenties and an occasional cigar smoker - although I'm upping my consumption of late. Got hooked on the Cuban cigars after celebrating the birth of my daughter with a Montecristo No. 2 late last year. Previously used to indulge in your King Edwards, Hamlets and Cafe Creme type before I knew any better...

Keep a modest selection of cigars in my (small) humidor, and treat myself to one whenever the occasion warrants it, although recently I find myself reaching for a Cohiba Mini along with the "poo bags" when taking the dog out for his late night walkies more and more often...

On a personal note, I'm engaged to marry the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world (not looking to start an argument! ), and, while only vaguely interested in the wedding plans (thought I'd just turn up on the day wearing a nice suit!), I have been delegated the task of organising our honeymoon and have a shortlist of one destination.... CUBA!

Been lurking around these forums for a while now, and thought it about time I introduced myself and started to participate in conversation. Very much looking forward to getting to know you all.

    Cheers,

    I.

Hi Ian - welcome onboard! It's a honeymoon to Cuba that finds me on UKCF... make sure you do a good 3 days in Havana at the least before giving in to the Mrs-to-be's request for the beach in Varadero!

I'm off for 3 days Havana, 3 in Trinidad, 6 in varedero. Were doing it on the cheap so the hotels won't be honeymoon quality. But with a few upgrades could be a plan for you? Bit of sightseeing bit of relaxing.
