I've never heard anything good about them. Normally CAO gets good reviews for the Vision, Brazilia, Sopranos, and Mx2. Otherwise they don't get very high accolades.
Business in the front. Party in the back.

I'm not a fan of the CAO line. They just don't hit the spot for me. The Golds are without doubt the mildest of the bunch. If you are looking for a stronger smoke try the Brazillas or the Italias.

If they're not Cuban, don't smoke 'em!!

(Sorry lads for being so controversial. Please understand this is just MHO. I only ever smoke at the weekend and every NC has disappointed me compared to even the most basic of Cubans....)

Stevieboy U are dead nuts about the NC and cubans. However I think they meaning Cubans profiles are more or less the same.Where as NC Hundorians and DR all have their own differant taste and every Companies tabacco is grown differantly and blended differantly!IMHO

There's something to be said about the endless variety of tobacco blends for cigars. Every region has their own qualities and it's interesting to think that Cuban tobacco is the only tobacco that is almost never blended with other regions' tobacco. There are so many blending possibilities that have never been explored using a combination of Cuban tobacco and that of Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, or D.R. While I enjoy CCs, the novelty of them is what makes them so great, and i'm ashamed to admit that. As far as complexity goes there are definitely more complex smokes in NCs than in the majority of CCs I've had. The major difference is the smoothess that is almost exclusively a Cuban tobacco characteristic. But smoothness can be found in other tobaccos and it is not always the best part of a cigar experience. If you've never enjoyed a NC, then you've not tried the right ones. I can tell you that there are definitely some CCs that make the top of my list, but more than half of the CCs I've tried don't even make my Top 10. MHO.

Interesting topic, I myself am looking forward to trying a lot of diff NCs and CCs. A lot of the NCs are highly rated in AC and to me are worth trying.

U are dead balls Mr. larry. Mr. Moore variety is the spice of life. Cubans R great smokes but nonCubans are being produced by the same guys that were master rollers who fled Cuba. They control the crops and blends, just as they did for Castro.More variety less hesdachs! Im not telling U their all great but the well known brands stand tall among the cigar giants of the world .
