Just returned from a holiday Thailand after spending a week in Koh Samui and a few days in Bangkok.
I was great to go somewhere where there are still option for smoking and non smoking tables at restaurants and smoking rooms at hotels. I did not smoke at the table or in the hotel room as the wife and kids were around most of the time but it was good to see the option available.
I did not bother to try and find any cigar rooms or cigar clubs to attend as I preferred to sit on the beach on the lounger during the day or at a bar on the beach in the evening.
In Bangkok I tried to seek out cigar rooms or cigar smoking venues but was unsuccessful so smoked in the hotel balcony.
As far as buying cubans in Koh Samui and Bangkok goes forget it its almost non existent. I asked the hotel concierge and the drivers but both were useless.
Thank God I took my own and my advise to anyone gonging would be the same take your own.
The Dutyfree at Heathrow and Bangkok were both limited in choice and pricey so did not buy any.
