Yesterday I finished what is possibly the most stressfull 3 weeks of my life. Last September I started at university as a mature student. This was a return to education after 10 years.

Yesterday I had my last exam of the foundation year. Now this year has been fun, but the pace of teaching was fast. To cap it all off the minimum mark required is 70% to progress to next year.

I have had sleepless nights, my resting pulse at times was 110 bpm with the adrenalin. I'm feeling a run down wreck.

Trying to learn all the technical terms and be able to spell them for the exam is much harder than the actual concepts.

So after finishing my last exam I felt the need to wind down totally. So I got a nice H. Upmann magnum 48 Le out of the humidor, bought a bottle of Aberlour 10year old single malt and headed for the park. (like a middle class tramp I guess)

Now granted there are plenty of health risks related to smoking, but the risks from continuous high stress are pretty severe too.

After the stress of the last few weeks it was the best tonic I could have hoped for. The only downside was that I didn't have a glass with me so I had to improvise with a water bottle and a scalpel out of my pencil case.

The pics tell the rest of the story.IMAG0011.jpgIMAG0010.jpgIMAG0013.jpg
